the last ignorant generation. pax intraaevum. no one in the future will be as oblivious as we are today.
like i said, i have learned much in the past few days, and even more today. you know, like when you learn something, and from that moment on, you look at everything differently. that kind of stuff.
yet what i know is suppressed.
how do you determine the value of a purposeless man? i guess that is how you define the purpose of life. when you woke up this morning, what did you accomplish with your day. or when you were born into this world, what were you supposed to do?
obviously, we do not need to copulate anymore. i guess we do need to reproduce once in a while, but as is, the world has too much population growth. i suppose we still do need agriculture. but if you had a machine that could autonomously farm better than you could, and you have a house, then what more do you need to do? do you need to do anything? and is the food free?
in capitalism, you have to work to eat. or you have to use value that someone else couldn’t spend, which is my case. if you can’t work, you can’t eat. and i don’t mean you don’t have any legs, so you can pull the plow. i mean that if a robot is doing all the farming for you, you have no way to buy the food, so you starve. even though the abundance is there.
the purposeless man quickly becomes the hungry man. i guess i should use obsolete laborer instead of purposeless man.
“it isn’t the system that is broken, it is the people, and their individual greed”
i just don’t see how capitalism accounts for mechanization. in fact, it aims to promote stagnant technology. if you have to work to get food, then it does not make sense to replace that persons labors with a machine, because you are dooming that person to death. instead you must kindly provide them with a lifetime of servitude fulfilling their duty even though they could be at the beach enjoying the day.
yeah, but what about incentive.
if the factory worker has their job replaced and can go to the beach all day and i am the doctor, i want to go to the beach all day. well. then fine. go to the beach. but what if people get sick? well, then they die. and it was the doctors choice to go to the beach. you do what you do because you love to do it. not because you are in a life of servitude fulfilling your endentured roles.
when we all contribute to society, we all benefit. when one person contributes to society we all benefit. when i contribute to society, i feel good. i don’t have to, but i do.
when you forget about time. october sneaks by.
I learned a lot today. but i am tired.
so i must sleep. close your eyes. sweet dreams.
the superficial plane of disappointment
i am the brand. the label you are looking for. it’s exclusivly mine. mined in china and parts of butte.
i am so glad i can program. i have a program going to every page on the county website and retriveing the data. click by click. but computerized, so faster, cheaper and it is like i have cloned myself.
“part” or me. my thought. has created another me. i have arranged bits in a certain way, and they are now aligning other bits for me without me to be there. i occasionally have to tune my program, and fix bugs, correct behavior, because the county system is suck. and heavily unreliable. though i am sucking it through http via firefox and ruby and watir, think of all the people involved in this. indirectly. because they gave it away for free. i can call your library, and my golems will do work for you. breathe life into them and they are ready to serve.
i listened to a lot of music today. and i mean listened. as i adventured through the jungle. yeah.
i learned that all of our electricty is negative energy. like the electrons, they are negatively charged, or so it goes. so every time you turn on a light, the engery emitted is negative. right? the proton is the powerful positive part, but it is too big to move. so we don’t use proton energy.
unless we are having fusion. or fission. i like fusion better. seems more groovy. i want a fusion generator, oh wait, i have one. the sun. and thank god we spin. or we’d cook. and we wobble so we can surf AND ski. lucky. dragons. spinning us around.
imagine yourself standing next to the universe. who is taller? who’s a baller. standing. on the outside.
hey. if you belive in jesus and everlasting life, i have one question for you, how long is eternity? does it start when i die? is it before now? is it right now? please, i humbly must know.
and since i believe in jesus, i will answer my own question. yes. you are in heaven. wake up and enjoy this paradise. and respect it as you would heaven. pick up litter. be kind to others. listen to good music. love being you, in heaven, with such a view.
would you fight someone in heaven? or do you expect every body down there to just cater to you. like mmm, that ice cream looks good and the guy just gives you one? that is five angel dollars. or wait, no, you just have an ice cream. no transaction necessary. i will file it in the filling cabinet under i. for ice cream.
youre in heaven and you just wake up and rip the bong. is that heaven? if i accept jesus christ into my life as my lord and savior, can i still rip the bong? my jesus obeys the burning bush with abraham up in heaven. they philosophize with all the knowledge of all time. they imagine and create within the void. outside. through the window. i can see them.
like, oooh, a big warhammer game. my heaven involves them.
this is my heaven now. i am always in eternity. i am ageless. timeless. immortally taking the ride. manipulating my light into a presense. vibrating. in a giant puzzle. which i choose to percieve as sequential and solve with logic and reason. finding keys along the way to unlocking everyday mysteries. it is in plain sight, you just have to see it. believe it. that this is heaven. and that you can have what you want. make it so.
i think it comes down to loving yourself. and being honest at all costs. emancipating fear. radiating hope, that by being you, you are the best you can be and that everything you do is what you want. right now. and that you are morally sound enough to trust yourself.
others may judge your actions, but you are the one who has to live with them. or lack there of.
you are personally responsible for yourself. nobody else. it makes sense to cooperate as communities. as a group we are much more sustainable.
i don’t wear it because it’s cool. it’s cool because i wear it.
